What happens when a supplier requests an early payment?
If your designated account is funded and no manual transfer approvals are needed, the payment executes and the bill is restricted in Revolut BillPay to prevent duplicate payments.
If your designated accounts are not funded enough to cover the amount and/or manual transfer approvals are needed, a 24-hour settlement window begins for you to take action.
Why is the payment not processed yet?
This status means the 24-hour window is active but a blocker exists. You should check for:
- Transfer approvals: someone in your workspace needs to sign off on the payment
- Insufficient funds: you need to add money to your funding account
You have 24 hours to resolve these blockers before the offer expires and the bill reverts to its original terms.
Where can I see how much my company has saved?
You can monitor your savings and early payment analytics directly on the Bills dashboard.
- Click the 'Performance' button on the early payments widget
- The 'Early payment performance' window opens, displaying your 'Realised savings' for the selected period
- Toggle between a 1-month '(1M)', 3-month '(3M)', or 12-month '(12M)' view
In this view, you can also track your offer acceptance volume (sent vs. paid) and supplier participation metrics, such as the total number of suppliers reached and your overall acceptance rate.
