Pending crypto withdrawals
You can see the reason why your withdrawal is pending on the transaction details screen. To see the status of your withdrawal:
- Go to the ‘Treasury’ section and choose ‘Crypto’
- Scroll to the transactions list or select the crypto you withdrew
- Find your withdrawal transaction
- Click it to see the reason why it's pending
Your crypto withdrawal could be pending because it's going through one of the steps: Internal check, Broadcasting to the network, Confirmation on-chain
Crypto withdrawal internal check
We apply a number of different automated standard checks on every crypto withdrawal. Part of these checks is making sure you're not being scammed by bad actors.
Usually, these checks will be completed within seconds. In some exceptional cases, we may ask you to provide more information in-app.
If we think there's a risk you're falling victim to a scam, we'll ask you to go through a questionnaire to understand more about why you're sending crypto. Always go through this questionnaire with care and stay vigilant.
Broadcast crypto withdrawals to the network
Crypto transfers are cryptographically signed and broadcast on a blockchain network. This step is automated and usually completed within seconds.
If there is a delay in this step, it can mean that we're experiencing some technical difficulties. If this happens, we'll notify you in-app with a banner on your home screen.
Once the issue is resolved, your withdrawal will either automatically be reprocessed or it will fail. If it fails, you'll have to re-submit it.
Crypto withdrawal on-chain confirmation
When you send crypto, this is an on-chain transaction. This means that your transaction will have to be verified by the nodes of the blockchain. Different blockchains have different transaction confirmation methods and times, so how much time your transaction needs to finalise is variable.
You can usually expect your transaction to be finalised within minutes. However, if there is high traffic on the blockchain network you selected, this can take longer. Meanwhile, you can monitor your transaction on a blockchain explorer. In your Revolut Business app:
- Go to ‘Treasury’ section and choose ‘Crypto’
- Scroll to the transactions list or select the crypto you withdrew
- Find your withdrawal transaction
- Tap ‘Transaction hash'
- Choose 'View my transaction' to see details on the blockchain explorer
