Manage tax rates in Revolut POS
Tax rates are percentage values that you apply to products and transactions so that tax is calculated and added automatically at checkout. You can create multiple tax rates (for example, different VAT levels) to match local rules for various product or service categories.
Responsibility for tax compliance
Revolut Business does not decide whether tax applies to your sales and does not report or pay any taxes for you. You remain fully responsible for checking local tax laws, configuring appropriate rates, and handling any tax filings or payments to authorities.
Manage tax rates in the Revolut POS app
- Log in to the Revolut POS web app
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
- Navigate to 'Settings' and select your location
- Go to 'Checkout' and 'Taxes'
- Add new tax rates (by entering a name and percentage), edit existing ones, or delete them
To assign tax rates to products:
- Log in to the Revolut POS web app
- Go to 'More' and 'Products'
- Scroll past the categories
- Click the product you want to edit, or create a new one
- Select a tax rate if one has been previously configured in the POS web portal
- Click 'Save'
