Clear Books draft payments
What is Clear Books and who can sign up?
Clear Books is cloud-based accounting software built for UK small businesses and startups. This Revolut Business integration is only available to businesses registered in the UK and onboarded onto Clear Books.
To set up the integration, you need 'View Integrations', 'View Accounts', and 'Manage Integrations' permissions in Revolut. In Clear Books, make sure the 'Integrations' permission — which can be found in the 'Tools' section — is enabled to complete the setup.
To approve draft payments in Revolut, you'll need 'Send Money' and 'Manage Recipients' permissions. Make sure all necessary permissions are granted before proceeding.
What does the Clear Books integration do?
This integration lets you manage bills and payroll directly from Clear Books using your Revolut Business account. It supports features like bulk and scheduled draft payments for smoother cash flow management.
Drafts allow you to prepare payments in advance, helping avoid delays and improving planning. You can schedule or group payments before approving them in Revolut.
This is separate from the transaction feed integration, which syncs transactions via Plaid. That feed must be installed separately and isn’t part of the Clear Books draft payments feature.
