How to exchange currencies

To exchange money between your currency accounts in the Revolut Business app:

  • Go to 'Home' on the main menu
  • Click Exchange
  • Select your desired currencies and amounts

Exchange fees

A 0.6% fee is applied to exchanges above your fair usage allowance, according to your Business plan.

Business customers, regardless of their plan, are charged a 1% mark-up fee on exchanges made on the weekend between 17:00 EST on Friday and 18:00 EST on Sunday.

Exchange rates

The exchange rate is constantly fluctuating. This means that the amount of money you receive depends on the exchange rate that was in effect when you confirmed the exchange.

The rate you see outside currency exchange market hours may not be the same as the rate that's available when the markets are open.

Platform or market interruptions

During periods of extreme market volatility or technical or other disruptions, we may temporarily pause exchanges for certain currencies. If a currency is unavailable, it is clearly indicated in-app.

Cross-currency internal transfers to other Revolut customers involving the paused currency are also temporarily blocked. However, the following operations remain unaffected:

  • Scheduled payments: processed as usual
  • Alternative options: you can choose another available currency
  • Withdrawals and transfers: ATMs, external transfers, and transfers to cards work normally. Fees and T&Cs apply
