What’s covered under everyday protection insurance?
Purchase protection offers cover for repair or replacement costs if an item bought with your Revolut account is stolen or accidentally damaged. Further details can be found in this FAQ.
Refund protection offers cover when you want to return an item bought with your Revolut account, and the retailer refuses. To be eligible, the item must be unused and purchased within the last 90 days. Further details can be found in this article.
What are the conditions and limitations?
- Items purchased must be solely for professional use
- Cover is only for new items purchased from authorised retailers, not private sellers
- Items must be paid for in full using your Revolut Business account. Items bought through instalment plans, or a non-Revolut Business account, aren't covered
- Mobile phone coverage is limited to a single claim per year
- Cover excludes pre-owned or refurbished items
- Eligible purchases made with your Revolut Business account are automatically covered according to the terms and conditions. Therefore, no purchase declaration is necessary
Everyday protection insurance doesn't cover transportation or delivery issues. Therefore, the coverage doesn't extend to lost or non-delivered items, or items that are broken or defective upon delivery.
