Set up scheduled transfers
To set up scheduled transfers in the Revolut Business app:
- Go to 'Transfers' and click 'Send money'
- Select or add a recipient
- Enter the amount you want to transfer
- Click 'Scheduled' and set the start date (when the transfer starts), frequency (daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly), and end date (last transfer date)
- Confirm to schedule your recurring transfer
You can view and send your scheduled transfers in the 'Upcoming' tab under 'Transfers'. Scheduled transfers will be made on the chosen day, but the timing may vary.
Recurring transfers scheduled on weekends
If the scheduled transfer falls on a weekend or bank holiday, we'll process it like any other transfer, scheduled or not, on the day. Transfers above your allowance or starting on weekends are subject to exchange fees.
Some external banks or payment systems might not accept payments on weekends and bank holidays. In that case, the payment will only be processed the next business day.
Cancelling a scheduled transfer
To cancel an existing scheduled transfer:
- Go to 'Transfers' and click ‘Upcoming’
- Select the scheduled transfer that you want to delete
- Click the three dots ‘...’ on the top-right
- Delete the transfer
Deleting a scheduled transfer will delete all future payments to be made via that scheduled transfer.
What if my scheduled transfer fails?
If you don’t have sufficient balance in the currency account from which the recurring payment should be processed, it will fail as the funds won’t be converted from other currency accounts, even if the overall amount was sufficient for processing the payment.
Once a recurring or scheduled transfer fails, you'll need to send the transfer manually to the recipient.
If a recurring or scheduled transfer is cancelled for any reason, you'll receive an in-app notification and an email (if enabled as part of your marketing preferences).
