Currency exchange in Invest app
How to make a currency exchange in the Invest app
In your Invest app:
- Go to 'Watchlists' on the bottom menu
- Select currency exchange (FX) from the tabs at the top
- Select the currency pair you wish
- Proceed with exchanging your desired amount
Alternatively, you can follow the below steps:
- Upon buying a security, you'll be asked to select where to source the funds from
- In case you select a different currency (for example, using EUR to buy a US stock, you'll see the exchanged amount in the review screen, before approving the trade)
- You'll also be able to check the rate by tapping the information symbol next to the exchanged amount
Currency exchange fees
Currency exchanges in your Investment account performed within the Invest app are provided by Revolut Securities Europe UAB. These do not attract any fees.
Currency conversion services, which are performed before you transfer your funds to your Investment account, are provided to you by Revolut Bank UAB and you may incur currency exchange fees based on your subscription plan and the day of the exchange. Currency exchange fees may apply to external money withdrawals (bank transfers) if you wish to withdraw cash that’s different to the target account currency. For example, you select your USD balance to withdraw to an external EUR account.
