Update my expired documents

Which documents do I need to provide and guidelines?

Typically, the required documents include a government-issued ID such as a passport, national ID card, or driver's license. This depends on your country and citizenship. The app will guide you through which documents are required.

Make sure you use documents that are current, in date, and clearly visible, including all corners, when uploading.

Photocopies or images of another screen won't be accepted. You'll need to submit the original, valid, and in date document with all details clearly visible and free from glare, blur, or shadows.

What happens if I don't update my documents?

If you don't update your documents by the requested deadline, your account will be temporarily restricted.

This means you may not be able to access certain banking services like top-ups and receiving money until the documents are updated.

I don’t have a valid document right now. What should I do?

If you've applied to renew your documents but haven’t received them yet, you can apply for an extension of up to 4 months by supplying evidence that you're waiting for a renewal.

If your documents are unavailable, get in touch with us via our in-app chat. We might be able to extend your deadline or provide alternative options based on your situation.

For more information, check out our Help Centre.

If I miss the deadline, when will the restrictions apply?

We'll get in touch via email to let you know the deadline to provide your updated documents. After this time, restrictions will apply.

This means you may not be able to access certain banking services until the documents have been updated.
