How much does it cost to accept card payments?

We'll charge a processing fee for each successful card payment. This fee varies depending on the country the card was issued from and channel (online vs. in person) where the payment occurs.

There are two main types of card origin — domestic cards, issued in Australia, or international cards, issued in any other country. For more details, see our Pricing page.

There are 2 types of fees which apply to each payment:

Online payments

  • Domestic cards: 1.6% + A$0.20 (or other currency equivalent)
  • All international cards: 2.9% + A$0.20 (or other currency equivalent)

In-person payments

  • Domestic cards: 1.4% + A$0.05
  • All international cards: 2.7% + A$0.05

Example of fees

A customer is paying the amount of A$100 online, using an Australia card. You will be charged 1.6% of A$100 (equalling A$1.6), plus A$0.20. This equals a total fee of A$1.80 (or other currency equivalent).

We also offer custom plans to suit your specific business needs. Speak to our Sales team to learn more.
