How can I set up or revoke an Open Banking integration?
How can I set up an Open Banking integration?
Open banking connections (consents) are typically started from the third party's side. Look for an option like 'Connect your bank' or 'Link account'. Once you select Revolut, you'll be redirected to the app to review the request and choose the accounts to include.
Nothing is shared until you confirm the connection. Each connection shows which accounts have been selected, what data they can see, and when the consent expires.
Consents last up to 12 months. If you take no action, sharing stops automatically on the expiry date — you don't need to revoke it manually. To continue data sharing, follow the steps from the third party to renew your consent. See our CDR Policy for more information.
How can I view my existing Open Banking connections?
Once a connection (“consent”) is set up, you can see it in the Revolut Business web portal and the Revolut Business app. While you can authorise connections via both channels, full consent history and consent details are available on the Revolut Business web portal.
To view your connections on the Revolut Business web portal:
- Go to 'My Account'
- Select 'Settings'
- Select 'Integrations'
- Under 'External connections' you will see accounts that you may have connected to via Open Banking. Each connection shows what accounts have been selected, what data they can see and when the consent expires
How can I disconnect an existing Open Banking integration?
Once a connection ('consent') is set up, you can see it in the Revolut Business app or website under 'Your Account', 'Settings' and 'Integrations'. Each connection shows what accounts have been selected, what data they can see and when the consent expires.
To disconnect a provider via the Revolut Business app, click the connection to revoke and the three dots on the top-right to see the ‘Disconnect’ button appear. On the Revolut Business website, click the connection to revoke and a sidebar will appear with an option to ‘Revoke permission’.
Once you have confirmed, the permission will be revoked and the data-sharing will be disconnected. This takes effect immediately — the third party can no longer access your data from that point.
Data shared before you disconnected
We can't recall data that was already sent to the third party before you disconnected. If you'd like them to delete it, contact them directly.
