Set up a Direct Debit
A Direct Debit is an automated payment method that lets a merchant regularly withdraw money from your bank account. You can check your active Direct Debits under 'Upcoming' in the 'Transfers' section of your Business app.
Supported Direct Debits
Supported currencies: AUD
Direct Debits can't be made to merchants in another country, even if you have a currency account in the currency of their country. For example, you can't use a EUR account to set up a Direct Debit with a merchant in Europe.
At the moment, we don’t support inbound Direct Debits — only outbound Direct Debits are supported.
How to set up an outbound Direct Debit
- Contact the company you'd like to pay via Direct Debit and give them with your local AUD account details
- After the Direct Debit is set up, the company will be authorised to withdraw funds from your account
It's not possible to set up the Direct Debit through your Revolut Business account.
We don’t charge fees for setting up or processing Direct Debits, but currency conversion fees may apply. You can set up as many different Direct Debits as you want, for any amount.
Can I transfer a Direct Debit from another account?
You can't transfer a Direct Debit from one account to another. If your account details have changed, we recommend that you contact the merchant and give them your new payment details so that they can start collecting money from the updated account.
