Why did my recipient receive an amount less than I sent?
There are a few reasons your transfer recipient may receive less than the amount you sent:
- Transfers in different currencies: the bank may charge an exchange fee if the currency you’re sending isn’t the same as the recipient’s account.
- SWIFT transfers: intermediary banks may charge handling fees.
- Recipient bank fees: the beneficiary bank may charge a fee for incoming transfers.
Revolut Business fees for transfers are always visible in-app before sending money. You can also find them in the transfer details after completing the transfer.
