How do tiered rates work in Instant Access Savings?
What is the blended interest rate?
Tiered rates apply depending on your plan and the total balance across all your personal Savings accounts.
- The total balance across all your personal savings accounts up to $250,000 earn the first tier rate, and balances above will earn the second tier rate
- The blended rate is calculated by applying each tier rate to the relevant part of your balance, adding the results, and dividing by your total balance
The blended rate is applied across all your Instant Access Savings accounts in the same local currency
How can I check the interest rate applicable to me?
To view the latest rate in the Revolut app:
- Go to 'Accounts' and tap 'Instant Access Savings'
- Tap the 'Interest rate' shown below your balance to see your tiered rate
- Tap 'Learn more' for a detailed breakdown
