I can't add my card to Apple Pay
To successfully add your card to your Apple Pay:
- Make sure your account is fully verified. Cards cannot be added without completing the full verification of your account
- Make sure your account balance isn't negative
- Make sure you're using a supported card type. Only Visa and Mastercard are supported
- Make sure you don't have the same card digitalized in too many devices
- The card you're trying to add can't be a frozen or terminated
Why is my Apple Pay card number different from Revolut's?
For security reasons, the last four digits shown for Apple Pay transactions on your statement are not the actual last four digits of your card.
Instead, they represent an encrypted number. This Apple-developed feature ensures that even if a payment terminal or database is breached, hackers would only get a one-time dynamic security code, which is useless to them. If you need to provide your card details to a merchant for a refund:
- Open your digital wallet on your iPhone
- Select your Revolut card
- Tap the three dots in the top-right corner
- Choose 'Card Number' to view the masked number Apple uses for transactions
