RevPoints spare change
Our spare change feature allows you to acquire RevPoints with the spare change from your payments. For example, if you buy a coffee for AUD 2.46, you can acquire RevPoints with the spare change of AUD 0.54. RevPoints acquired with spare change payments are non-refundable.
Enable or disable spare change RevPoints
- Go to 'RevPoints' on the bottom menu
- Below your points balance, tap 'Earn'
- Select Spare change
- Tap 'Done' to enable this feature, or 'Deactivate' to disable it
Manage the spare change round ups multiplier in-app
Our spare change multiplier increases the amount rounded up from each card payment, so you set aside more money to buy more RevPoints.
- Go to 'RevPoints' on the bottom menu
- Below your points balance, tap 'Earn'
- Tap Spare change and choose the multiplier amount
- Tap 'Save'
Spare change in foreign currency
If your card payment is made using foreign currency balance, the round-up applies to the nearest whole unit of that currency. If you complete a transaction in a foreign currency using funds exchanged from another currency, the round-up applies to the nearest whole unit of currency amount exchanged.
For example, if you make a purchase of US$8.50 which requires you to convert A$11.90 to US$, this will be rounded up to A$12.00, with A$0.10 being exchanged for Points. Different rounding rules depend on currency of the account. For example round-ups in JPY round up to the nearest multiple of 100.
