How do I dispute a BPAY payment?

What is BPAY?

BPAY is a national electronic bill payment service, jointly developed by Australia's leading financial institutions. If your bill displays the BPAY logo, you can pay it using BPAY through Revolut.

BPAY disputes and refunds

If you agreed to buy a product or service from a biller, we can’t directly issue you a refund through the BPAY scheme. Any disputes must be resolved with the biller directly.

Mistaken payments and unauthorised/fraudulent transactions

If you made a mistake and paid the wrong biller, contact us immediately and we'll attempt to retrieve the funds for you. However, this isn't guaranteed as the biller has the discretion to return the funds or not. We also recommend that you contact the biller you’ve made the BPAY payment to.

If you suspect that a BPAY Payment was unauthorised or fraudulent, contact us immediately and we will look into it further for you. Please refer to section 14 of our T&Cs for more information on unauthorised and fraudulent transactions.
