For personal or Joint accounts, your name is only displayed to others if the details entered are a match or close match.
Your name will not be displayed to others if the details they enter don't match.
Can I opt-out of having my name displayed to others?
You may be eligible to opt out of Confirmation of Payee. Get in touch with support for more information.
Opting out will not apply if a government agency is making a payment to you.
