Setting up a Direct Debit

A Direct Debit is when you authorise someone else to withdraw from your bank account at regular intervals. Usually, direct debits are set up to pay rent, bills, or mortgages. Direct debits are only available for local AUD transfers.

How to set up a Direct Debit

  • Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner
  • Tap 'Account'
  • Tap 'Account details'
  • Tap 'AUD'
  • Tap 'Share' to provide your local Revolut bank details to the merchant

If your Direct Debit was previously deactivated, you'll need to set it up again by following the same process as before. We can't set up Direct Debits on your behalf, this must be done directly with the merchant.

Fees and limits

Revolut doesn't charge any fees for setting up or processing Direct Debits. You can set up as many different Direct Debits as you want, for any amount.
