What is PayID and how can I use it?

PayID is a simple way to send and receive instant transfers in Australia, using a phone or email address.

How to register a new PayID

  • On the Revolut home screen, tap the ‘PayID’ icon
  • Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner
  • Tap the PayID you would like to register
  • Tap ‘Add’
  • You'll then be sent a one-time pin via email or SMS to enable your PayID. Enter the six-digit code in-app to finish registering your PayID

How to delete or freeze a PayID

  • On the Revolut home screen, tap the ‘PayID’ icon
  • Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner
  • Tap the PayID you would like to unregister or freeze
  • Your PayID is now deleted or frozen

Most common reasons a PayID can’t be registered

  • PayID is already registered at another bank: you'll need to unregister the PayID before registering with Revolut
  • Wrong code: the OTP code entered isn’t correct. Try again and enter the correct code
  • PayID is frozen: please contact support for assistance
