Information needed to open an investment account
During the sign-up process for stock trading, you'll need to answer multiple questions and confirm some information for regulatory purposes, including (but not limited to):
- Confirm you aren’t a US citizen/resident
- Provide your national ID (NIN) based on your first nationality
- Provide an occupation close to your current job
- Confirm any affiliation with financial institutions
- Your TIN must match your country of residence
Why was my investment account application declined?
Your investment account application may be rejected or delayed in the following circumstances:
- If you've previously had an investment account with Revolut, we need to carry out some additional checks before we can approve the sign-up
If your investment account verification is pending for longer than 2 business days, you can contact us via chat in the Revolut app.
