Fees for sending a SWIFT transfer

When sending international SWIFT transfers, fees may be charged by intermediary and beneficiary banks to fulfil SWIFT transfer requests. These fees can be settled in two ways:

  • OUR fee: all fees, including intermediary and receiver bank fees, are paid upfront, ensuring the recipient gets the full amount
  • SHA fee: fees are split between sender and beneficiary and are charged after the transfer is completed. This can result in recipients getting less than the amount sent
