Managing Analytics categories

Transactions made through the Revolut account on your Revolut app are generally assigned to a category.

All your spending is filtered by categories you spend in, merchants you spend with, and countries you spend in.

To change your transaction's category:

  • Go to your Transactions.
  • Tap on the transaction you'd like to edit.
  • Scroll below to the 'Category' section and click the current category.
  • Select a new category or create a custom one by tapping (+) at the top.
  • Choose if you wish to transfer similar transactions to this new category.

Also, you can assign a transaction to a specific category by following these steps:

  1. Go to the home screen → tap the 'Analytics' icon in the top right corner. Or, you can head to the main screen and open the 'Spent this month' widget.
  2. Tap the category you wish to see.
  3. Select 'Add transaction' and choose the transaction you want to change the category for.
  4. Choose 'Add only this transaction' or 'Add all from this merchant' if you want to change the category for all transactions from that merchant.
