Card security settings
Managing your Revolut card security settings allows you to adjust your card functionality based on your needs. This applies to physical cards only and is not applicable to virtual cards. To get started:
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Tap the cards icon in the top-right corner
- Choose your card and select 'Settings'
- Scroll down to 'Security'
Access the following options
- Online transactions: Block online transactions for added security. In-person, Apple Pay, or Google Pay payments remain unaffected
- Location-based security: Enable this feature to use your phone's GPS to prevent fraud. Ensure location sharing is allowed. For more details, check this FAQ
- Swipe payments: Disable magstripe and swipe payments to prevent fraud or cloning. This limits card use to chip and PIN or contactless
- ATM withdrawal: Disable ATM withdrawals to block all cash withdrawal attempts
- Contactless payments: Turn off contactless payments for your physical card. Apple Pay and Google Pay will still work
- Contactless payment limit: Revolut automatically sets a limit for contactless payments. You can reset this limit by using chip and PIN or tapping 'Reset limit' in your card settings
