Getting a Belgian IBAN

We’ve launched our Belgian (BE) branch and customers in Belgium will now have their accounts migrated to this branch and receive a BE IBAN, if they haven’t already. Having a BE IBAN will allow customers to:

  • Receive their salary directly into their Revolut account
  • Make payments via Direct Debit and pay utility providers
  • Avoid additional paperwork often required for non-BE IBANs when using their Revolut account for other purposes

Migration process

To have your account migrated to the BE branch, you’ll need to meet some specific requirements. We'll migrate all eligible customers gradually, and we’ll send you an email to notify you that your account is going to be migrated.

If your account hasn't been migrated after 60 days, please be patient — it will be completed shortly.

Recurring payments

Even after receiving your new BE IBAN, you can continue to use the LT IBAN for your current Direct Debits and inbound payments. However, it's important to note that your account will be fully migrated to the BE branch, making the new local BE IBAN the primary identifier for your account.
