What is Wero and how can I use it?
Wero is a payment system created by the European Payments Initiative (EPI). It lets you quickly transfer money between accounts in Europe. Revolut has joined the EPI, so our customers can now send or receive money to or from Wero users, using just a phone number — no bank details needed.
EPI is gradually rolling out Wero across the EU. It's currently available in France, Germany, and Belgium, with more countries to follow. If you're in the EU and using the latest Revolut app, but you don't see Wero, it may not be available in your region yet.

When using Wero through your Revolut app, general limits apply. You can send up to €100,000 per transaction, and you’re limited to 200 total transactions within a rolling seven-day period. Additionally, Revolut may apply its own limits. To view your limits in-app, go to your profile.
Claiming a refund
When sending money through Wero, the transfer is usually instant and can’t be cancelled once completed. To get a refund, the recipient must send the money back to you via Wero.
If you used Wero through Revolut to pay a merchant, any refunds will be subject to the merchant's refund policies. The money will be returned to your linked Revolut account via Wero.
If there's a problem with the return, or you'd like to dispute the transaction further, contact Revolut Support for help.
