To give you the best payment experience both in Brazil and abroad, we have 3 card types in total. However, you will only ever see and use 2 at a time, depending on whether you have a credit facility or not:

• Global debit card: for debit payments in foreign currencies, always visible
• Local debit card: for debit transactions within Brazil, visible if you do not have a credit facility
• Combo card: combines credit and debit on a single card, visible if you have an active credit facility

When abroad, the combo card will work as a credit card, but it can also be used for debit payments in Brazil. If you're not sure which card to use, refer to this FAQ.

For credit transactions, we'll always charge the amount from your credit limit.

For debit transactions, we apply several rules to determine which currency we use to deduct funds. For more information, refer to this FAQ.
