The Pix key is like a nickname for your account. You can use your CPF/CNPJ, email, mobile number, or create a random key. You can have up to 5 keys in one account.

• Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
• Tap ‘Pix’ under your balance
• Select ‘New key’
• Choose the type of Pix Key you want to create
• For a phone or email Pix key, you'll need to enter the code sent to your device

Pix portability allows customers to transfer their registered Pix key from one financial institution to another.

If you try to create a Pix key in Revolut that's already registered with another institution, you'll be asked if you would like to transfer that key to Revolut. By agreeing to the migration, you'll need to access the app of the other institution and confirm the portability request.

If you are trying to create a Pix key that belongs to someone else, you'll need to indicate whether you would like to initiate the ownership claim process. If you choose to do so, the other person will be notified and will need to prove ownership or give up the Pix key.

If they don't respond or confirm that the Pix key isn't theirs, you'll be notified, and you'll need to validate that the key is indeed yours (by entering the code sent to your phone or email). All steps and deadlines will be provided in your Pix area, under your Pix keys.
