Is there a fee associated with Crypto Staking?

Revolut's staking rewards commission varies depending on the asset being staked and the amount of the active stake balance. The commission helps us cover the costs associated with staking, for example, running the validator nodes via a third party.

The current commission rates are:

  • Ether: staking.boost.fee.eth if your active stake balance exceeds staking.threshold.eth ETH, staking.standard.fee.eth if your active staked balance is less than staking.threshold.eth ETH;
  • Cardano: staking.boost.fee.ada if your active stake balance exceeds staking.threshold.ada ADA, staking.standard.fee.ada if your active staked balance is less than staking.threshold.ada ADA;
  • Polkadot: staking.boost.fee.dot if your active stake balance exceeds staking.threshold.dot DOT, staking.standard.fee.dot if your active staked balance is less than staking.threshold.dot DOT;
  • Tezos: staking.boost.fee.xtz if your active stake balance exceeds staking.threshold.xtz XTZ, staking.standard.fee.xtz if your active stake balance is less than staking.threshold.xtz XTZ;
  • Solana: staking.boost.fee.sol if your active stake balance exceeds staking.threshold.sol SOL, staking.standard.fee.sol if your active stake balance is less than staking.threshold.sol SOL;
  • Polygon: staking.boost.fee.matic if your active stake balance exceeds staking.threshold.matic MATIC, staking.standard.fee.matic if your active stake balance is less than staking.threshold.matic MATIC.

The APY displayed in-app already reflects this commission. You won’t be charged any additional fees for rewards you receive in-app.
