Getting a new Swiss virtual IBAN

Information about getting a new Swiss virtual IBAN

Swiss customers will be able to access their CH virtual IBAN once they've been migrated to Revolut Bank UAB (RBUAB). If we need any additional information for you to be migrated, we’ll let you know. If not, we'll notify you once you've been migrated.

You won't be charged any fees to migrate to the new entity and your subscription plan will stay the same. A virtual IBAN ensures that you are properly reflected as the beneficial owner of all transfers in and out of the account, while Revolut Bank UAB is the account holder.

  • Go to ‘Home’ on the main menu
  • Choose a currency account
  • Click ‘Details’ to see your local and global account details

Who’s eligible to migrate to Revolut Bank UAB?

To be eligible, you'll need the required documentation and your country of incorporation needs to be Switzerland. If you meet all the eligibility criteria, we’ll invite you to migrate via email and in-app.

The migration is currently taking place in phases. If you’re eligible, but haven’t been invited to migrate your account yet, you’ll hear from us soon.

Do I need to do anything?

To migrate to Revolut Bank UAB and unlock our latest features, you may need to provide additional documents or information due to regulatory requirements. This is to make sure we’re complying with local laws and regulations.

If you don’t provide the required information, your account may be restricted, and you'll experience service disruptions as your current IBAN will no longer be operational. Without this IBAN, additional fees may apply to sending and receiving money.

You'll be able to access account history and historical statements, even after the migration.
