How to make bank transfers to a Swiss Revolut account

Domestic bank transfers

For one-time payments from a Swiss bank to your Revolut account, you can generate a QR code directly in your Revolut app. Simply open your account details and tap 'Share QR Code'. Use the QR scanner in your external bank’s app to finalise the money transfer.

If you have a personal bank account with UBS, Raiffeisen, or PostFinance, you can use our Open Banking feature for easy transfers. You can find step-by-step guidance in this FAQ.

For recurring payments, use the bank account details in your CHF currency account under the 'Local' tab. Learn how to find your CHF details in this FAQ. Adding your Swiss Revolut account to PayPal won't work, as PayPal doesn't support the specific reference required for CHF payments.

What beneficiary details should I use for CHF transfers?

  • Customers with an IBAN using the infrastructure of PostFinance:
  • Beneficiary: Revolut Bank UAB
  • Address: Konstitucijos ave. 21B, 08130 Vilnius, Lithuania
  • Message for recipient: [First name] [Last name], CH (example: Helvetia Schweizer, CH)

If your name is too long to fit the ‘Message for recipient’, abbreviate it. For example, use 'Helvetia Schweizer, CH' instead of 'Helvetia Martina Schweizer, CH'.

If you don't have a Swiss IBAN, please skip to section 'Cross-border bank transfer'. To learn, how to receive a Swiss IBAN, check this FAQ.

Receive my salary in my Revolut account

To see if you can receive your salary in your Revolut account, you’ll need to first check with your employer. They’ll need to be able to make payments using the ‘Beneficiary’ and ‘Message for recipient’ details mentioned above.

To make sure there’s always enough money in your Revolut account, you can set up recurring payments or automatic card top-ups.

Cross-border bank transfer

  • For CHF transfers from outside Switzerland, open your Revolut CHF currency account and share the account details under the 'International' tab with the sender or sending bank
  • For EUR transfers from accounts within Switzerland or the EEA, open your Revolut EUR currency account and use the account details under the 'Local' tab
  • For all other international transfers, use the details under the 'International' tab of the relevant currency account

To view your currency account details in-app, follow the instructions in this FAQ. Cross-border bank transfers may incur fees from the sending bank.
