Joining Revolut Switzerland Payments AG

Revolut Switzerland Payments AG (RSPAG) is the Swiss legal entity responsible for providing card-issuing services to Swiss retail customers.

This new entity allows us to waive our fees for all Swiss customers, when they add money to their account using a local Visa or Mastercard (corporate cards excluded). This makes adding funds to Revolut accounts faster, easier, and more cost-effective.

To check if you're part of Revolut Switzerland Payments AG, tap your profile icon in the top-left corner, select 'Account' → 'Terms & Conditions' and confirm you've read the Revolut Card Terms.

How do I join Revolut Switzerland Payments AG?

To be eligible to join, your account must be with Revolut Bank UAB. If you're still with Revolut Ltd, please make sure to complete the migration first. We'll be inviting all eligible customers in phases to join the Revolut Switzerland Payments AG.

Once invited, you'll need to provide additional information and re-verify your identity through a quick video call or NFC scan. This is a legal requirement specific to Swiss regulation and mandatory for all users - even if your identity has been verified previously.

After submitting your details, verification can take up to a few hours. Please note, that we can only onboard you once all steps are fully completed. Finishing the whole process in line with our instructions will help prevent any unnecessary delays.

What happens to my Revolut account after this transition?

Following the transition, your card and any future cards will be issued by a Swiss entity called Revolut Switzerland Payments AG. You can keep your existing card number, and your Revolut card will work as usual. In rare cases, we may need to send you a new card, but we'll do our best to avoid this.

Everything else, including your app, account, and plan, will remain the same.

If you decide not to join Revolut Switzerland Payments AG, your current account and card will still continue to work as usual. However, you may continue to incur fees when using a Swiss card to add money to your account and you may have trouble accessing future products.

Is Revolut Switzerland Payments AG regulated?
