Personalise RevPoints

What is RevPoints personalisation?

RevPoints personalisation helps your rewards feed show offers you’re more likely to use, instead of lots of random or irrelevant rewards.

We use machine learning to sort and highlight offers based on how you use Revolut and RevPoints. This helps us predict what you'll like and put the most relevant rewards at the top of your feed.

You can turn off individual personalisation at any time in 'Notification settings'. If you do, you may still see partner offers in the app, but they won’t be displayed using your personal activity data.

What data is used to personalise offers?

When personalisation is enabled, Revolut may use certain information from your account and app activity to decide which offers to show. This can include:

  • Your in-app activity, like offers you’ve seen or clicked
  • Your spending behaviour (for example types of shops or brands you use)
  • How you use Revolut products and features
  • How many RevPoints you have

This information helps us decide which offers are most relevant and how they should appear in your rewards feed.

Can I choose how my data is used for offers?

Yes. You can control whether personalised offers are shown to you in your notification settings. There are two types of personalised offers: Personalised Revolut offers (for Revolut products and features) and Personalised RevPoints promotions (for offers from Revolut partners).

  • Tap your profile icon in the top left of the screen
  • Open 'Notification settings'
  • Enable/disable the toggles for in-app personalisation

If you turn either or both of these toggles off, you may still see partner offers in the app, but they won’t be personalised based on your behaviour.

How private and secure is my data?

Your data is used to determine which offers appear in the app, but it doesn’t affect your account status or rights as a Revolut customer.

We don’t share your personal data with merchants for their own marketing.

In limited cases, protected data may be shared with merchants only to confirm that a reward should be given.
