Upcoming deactivation of CH IBAN details
Changes to current local IBAN
On 16 June 2025, Swiss customers that haven't joined Revolut Bank UAB will no longer be able to view their CH IBAN in the Revolut app. To make this transition easier, incoming payments to the old CH IBAN will continue to be processed until 30 June 2025.
After this date, that IBAN will be fully deactivated and incoming payments will be returned to the sender. Refunds typically take three to five business days to process.
Getting a new CH virtual IBAN
To receive a new Swiss (CH) virtual IBAN, you must be a Swiss resident and opt in to the migration to Revolut Bank UAB (RBUAB). Eligible customers will have received an email and in-app instructions to complete this migration.
The migration steps can be completed entirely within the app. Once you complete the process and accept the updated terms and conditions, you'll be onboarded to Revolut Bank UAB and issued a new local virtual CH IBAN.
What if I don't join Revolut Bank UAB by 30 June?
If you choose not to join Revolut Bank UAB, you'll still be able to use your Revolut app and existing cards. However, any incoming payments to your old CH IBAN will be rejected and returned to the sender.
You'll still be able to receive and send money as usual, but your account details for CHF transfers will automatically switch to your default GB IBAN.
If you're unable to join Revolut Bank UAB, we recommend sharing your GB IBAN with anyone sending you money to avoid disruptions in receiving transfers.
How to identify which entity is providing my bank account?
To confirm which entity provides your account, tap your profile icon in the top-left corner of the app and scroll down. At the bottom of the profile section you'll see which entity provides your account.
If your bank account is provided by Revolut Bank UAB, then you should have a new CH IBAN already, which you can use to receive and send transactions. Make sure to share the new IBAN details with anyone who pays you.
If your bank account is provided by Revolut Ltd, you haven't joined Revolut Bank UAB yet and your current CH IBAN will stop working as mentioned above. Make sure you complete the migration steps prompted in-app to join Revolut Bank UAB and receive a new CH IBAN.
