Getting started with travel insurance

Travel insurance is included as a benefit with our Premium, Metal, and Ultra plans. It's automatically activated when you sign up for Premium, Metal, or Ultra. You don't need to do anything else to activate it.

If you and your trip meet the eligibility requirements, there's no need to notify us about your travel plans. Your plans will automatically be covered.

Eligibility and people covered

  • Trips must be paid with your Premium, Metal, or Ultra Revolut account. See more in this FAQ
  • Your Premium, Metal, or Ultra plan must be active at the time of booking, and remain active until the trip ends
  • You must reside in the EEA with your primary address matching your Revolut account
  • Your trip must begin and end at the address your Revolut account is registered to
  • You and beneficiaries must meet eligibility criteria outlined in this article

Moving home, or moving abroad, can change your eligibility for cover. Insurance availability varies by country. Make sure to update your Revolut profile as soon as you move so you can see exactly what’s available in your new home. See how moving affects your policy in this article.

Regions covered

  • Worldwide, excluding sanctioned countries
  • Trips within your home country for trips over 100km from your house, or any trip that includes an overnight stay outside your home city or town
