Why do I need to verify my identity?

In order for your Revolut account to be fully operational and functional, you will need to complete the verification process of your identity.

This policy is in line with a banking regulation commonly known as 'Know Your Customer’ (KYC) or 'Customer Due Diligence' (CDD) and is the process of a business verifying the identity of its clients. It is simply an anti-corruption and fraud measure.

To verify your account, you will need to submit a selfie and live-pictures of a supported document. If you are logged in, click on your profile picture or initials in the top left corner → tap 'Account' → choose 'Personal details' → Verify My Identity.
