Revolut <18 account management

Manage the Revolut <18 account

In the main Revolut app: 

  1. Go to 'Home' in the bottom menu
  2. Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
  3. Scroll down and select '<18 account'

You’ll be able to create a second account by tapping 'Add new' and '<18 account'.

Close the <18 account

In the main Revolut app: 

  1. Go to 'Home' in the bottom menu
  2. Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
  3. Select your child’s <18 account
  4. Tap 'Settings'
  5. Select 'Close account'

Only the admin parent can close the account.

<18 co-parents

The admin parent can add a co-parent to manage the <18 account together. Co-parents can top up the account and oversee its activity, but only the admin parent can withdraw funds from the <18 account.

Assign or remove a co-parent

In the main Revolut app: 

  1. Go to 'Home' in the bottom menu
  2. Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
  3. Choose the <18 account you want to add a co-parent to (if you have more than one <18 account linked)
  4. Tap 'Settings'
  5. Select 'Co-parent' 

You can only assign one co-parent at a time, and you can reassign the co-parent up to a maximum of three times per calendar year.

You can’t add a co-parent to the <18 account on the Standard Revolut plan. You can view the plans that support Revolut <18 on our plans page.

Transferring ownership

To transfer ownership of the <18 account, the account needs to be closed first. Then, the co-parent can create a new <18 account and set themselves as the lead parent.
