Timeframes for transfers

Receiving GBP transfers

  • Faster Payments (FPS): usually within a few hours, but they can take up to 1 business day
  • Salary payments (usually BACS): 2 to 3 business days
  • CHAPS: up to 1 business day

EUR transfers

SEPA Instant transfers should arrive within a few minutes. Regular SEPA transfers can take up to 2 business days.

International transfers

SWIFT transfers can take up to 2 business days to arrive.
