How can I see my travel analytics?
Revolut Trips helps you understand your spending habits abroad and keep a record of your travels to countries that aren't your home country. The spending insights are based on your personal account spending.
You can explore spending for past trips, see transactions per trip, and even visualise the countries you've visited on a 3D map.
How to interact with the travel map?
Revolut Trips uses a 3D map to visualise the countries where you have used Revolut for spending. This can be accessed by selecting the map widget in the analytics dashboard. Countries that customers have visited will have a white glow to them, while unvisited countries will have a dark blue colour.
- Zooming: you can interact with this map by zooming in (pinching in with 2 fingers) to view country details, or zooming out to view get a global (expanding out with 2 fingers)
- Scrolling: use one finger to rotate and spin the globe and explore different countries and continents
- Country selection: customers can only select visited countries on the map. This can be done by either tapping a visited country, or by selecting the country from the trips list
- Sharing trips: you can share a summary of the countries you've visited on social media using the 'Share' button
Adding or removing a trip
If you want to manually add a trip, you can also do that. This can be done for trips you took before you started using Revolut, or for any trips during which you used other providers for your spending. To manually add a trip:
- Select the ‘+’ icon in the top-right. The process involves selecting a country and optionally selecting dates and transactions to include with the trip
- Trips can be removed manually by users using the edit functionality
Editing a trip
When a visited country is selected, customers can edit the dates and transactions associated with any trips to that location.
This can be accessed by tapping the ‘pencil’ icon in the top-right of the selected country.
