There is no excess for purchase insurance claims. However, items with a purchase cost of less than €50 aren't covered for damage and theft protection or return protection.

Revolut's purchase insurance is provided through Qover, not Revolut itself. Qover is responsible for policy terms, conditions, and claim handling. If you have questions about the cover, contact Qover through this page. To read the T&Cs, follow these steps in the Revolut app:

• In the search bar at the top of the screen, search for 'Insurance'
• Select 'Insurance'
• Select 'Purchase insurance' and tap 'Documents'
