Can both account holders withdraw from a joint account?

Both account holders can withdraw money from the joint account at any time. The other account holder will be notified about the amount withdrawn and when it happened in-app. We advise considering who you share a joint account with very carefully. In any case, it should be a trusted person.

To withdraw money from your joint account in-app:

  1. Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
  2. Select 'Accounts' below your balance and tap on 'Joint'
  3. Select '… More' and choose 'Withdraw'

For various reasons, at any time, your joint account could be closed or suspended and you won't be able to withdraw from it. To learn more, you can visit this FAQ in our Help Centre.
