My single-use virtual card isn't working

Single-use virtual cards are designed for one-time online transactions. Your single-use card will automatically generate new card details after one use, or after 24 hours.

Your single-use virtual card won’t work if:

  • The card is used for recurring card payments, subscriptions, or deposits (e.g. car rentals, hotels)
  • We suspect the merchant will charge your card again
  • You try to withdraw cash with the disposable virtual card
  • The terminal asks for a PIN
  • You try to add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay

Single-use virtual cards are automatically terminated after making a payment. You can still receive refunds to your Revolut account even if the disposable card number is no longer active.

Card details verification

To protect your card details, we may ask you to confirm your login information to view your single-use virtual card details. We’ll either send you an authentication code via SMS or email, or ask you to confirm your information with Face ID or Touch ID.

To switch to a different verification method, simply tap 'Choose another method'.
