Event ticket cancellation protection coverage
With event ticket cancellation protection, you could get reimbursed for event tickets purchased using your Revolut Plus, Premium, Metal, or Ultra account. Reimbursement is possible if you can’t attend due to unforeseen, covered circumstances, which include (but are not limited to):
- Death, serious bodily injury or illness of you, an event companion, close relative, or childcare provider
- Traffic accidents or carrier delays while traveling to the event
- Jury duty, court orders, or subpoenas on the event date which are issued to you after you bought the tickets
Ultra plan holders are also covered for event ticket cancellations for any reason under Ultra Trip and Event cancellation protection. Read more about the cover here.
Eligibility requirements for coverage
To qualify for event ticket cancellation protection, you must be a Revolut Plus, Premium, Metal, or Ultra subscriber, maintaining this paid plan from the ticket purchase until claim submission. Eligible tickets must be newly purchased tickets paid for before the event with no prior ownership and be:
- Paid for in full with an eligible Revolut plan
- For personal use
- Purchased from a retailer (not privately) for an event that takes place in your Revolut account’s registered country or within Europe
Ticket cancellation protection may cover pre-purchased tickets for events like cultural, sporting, leisure activities, shows, or amusement park visits at specific venues. It excludes transportation tickets, such as flight or train tickets.
How much can I claim?
The most you can claim is the lower of the face value of the ticket item, or up to €1,000 in any 12-month period.
