P-account management

How can I get a p-account?

If your account is garnished (which means there was an order to seize assets to settle an unpaid debt), or you expect it to be garnished, you can ask to convert it into a p-account.

A p-account is a payment account in which the credit balance is protected against seizure up to the legally defined limit.

While it can't prevent garnishment, you’ll still have access to a certain minimum monthly amount that remains unaffected.

If you have any questions or need more advice, you can contact recognised debtors and consumer insolvency advice centres. Unfortunately, we can't advise you in this case.

To get a p-account, please fill out the p-account request form and upload it using the option below.

How do I cancel a p-account?

You can ask us to cancel the p-account function of the account with four business days' notice to the end of a month. Simply complete the form below to submit your request.

The account will then be continued unchanged at the previous conditions. Using the credit card or an overdraft facility (if available) can then be applied for again.
