What currency account details are available for me?

Available details

All Revolut customers with an address registered in the EEA have access to:

  • GBP local account sort code and account number
  • EUR local account (LT IBAN for domestic transfers within the EEA)
  • SWIFT account for international transfers in all supported currencies

If you're a German customer with an LT IBAN, and your account is migrated to the German branch, you'll also get access to DE local account (DE IBAN for domestic transfers within the EEA).

Your old Lithuanian IBAN will still be active after you've ‌migrated to our German branch and have received your German IBAN. This allows you to get used to all of the changes. Go to this FAQ to learn when you'll get an DE IBAN.

If you opened a Revolut account after the launch of the German branch, it'll come with a German IBAN already — we won't need to migrate your account.

View your currency account details

In your Revolut app:

  1. Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
  2. Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
  3. Select the currency you wish to receive money in
  4. Tap 'Details'
  5. Choose 'Local' for domestic transfers or 'SWIFT' for international transfers
  6. Share these details with the sender or sender bank

You must use details for an account in the same currency as the transfer being sent. If local details aren't available for the currency you wish to receive money in, use the SWIFT details. They will be marked as 'For cross-border transfers only' in-app, and ask the sender to choose the 'OUR' option to avoid intermediary fees.

You can find fee information in this FAQ.

International SWIFT transfers typically take 3–5 working days.

Additional details

Revolut's official name, address, and correspondent BIC details are provided on the same details screen. If you're asked for intermediary bank details, you'll need to provide the correspondent bank's BIC.

If your bank auto-completes the BIC/SWIFT, and it's different from the one you see in your account details, you'll need to contact them and ask them to update their Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) before making the transfer.

If you need intermediary bank details, visit this FAQ.

If you need Revolut's official name and address, you can find them in this FAQ.
