Withdraw funds from my Brokerage account

How to withdraw funds

  • Go to Invest on the bottom menu
  • Tap 'Withdraw'
  • Select 'Brokerage Account'
  • Select USD or EUR currency and input the amount

Any withdrawn funds will land in your USD or EUR currency account, which you can check by tapping Accounts from your home screen.

When to withdraw funds

When you sell a security, the funds from the sale will be added to your USD/EUR balance in your investment account. You can either use them to buy another security or withdraw to your USD/EUR balance in your main Revolut account.

You'll be able to immediately reinvest the cash proceeds into another security. However, you won't be able to withdraw funds until they've been settled. It normally takes 1 trading day for US securities to settle, and 2 trading days otherwise.

If 1 trading day (for US securities) or 2 trading days (for EU securities) has passed, but the funds are still not available for withdrawal, make sure to check if there were any market holidays.

How is a trading day calculated?

For US-listed securities, a regular trading day runs from 09:30 to 16:00 Eastern Time (ET). Trading days are usually Monday to Friday, except for market holidays or shortened trading days. When a trading day ends, all share trading ends until the next trading day begins.

For European-listed securities, a trading day starts at 07:00 and ends at 20:00 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), Monday to Friday, except for holidays or shortened trading days.

Potential delays in settlement

There may be instances in which your settlement is delayed for reasons outside of our control. We aren't responsible for any losses you suffer as a result of delayed settlement, unless it is a scenario where losses occur due to a result of our fraud, wilful act, or gross negligence.
