Why your card top-ups may be blocked
Card deposits may be blocked because your issuing bank has declined a previous top-up using this card, or because you've made multiple unsuccessful top-up attempts before. These payment blocks can be applied for up to 30 days, due to Visa and Mastercard payment processing rules.
Reasons for the temporary block
Some common reasons which lead to these payment blocks are:
- Insufficient funds
- Security concerns, like if your card has been reported lost
- Transaction not supported by the issuing bank
