How do I close my account?

Thinking of leaving? to our Standard plan instead and keep your account — you'll still enjoy many features, with no monthly plan fees. If you're still sure you'd like to close your account, we'll guide you through the process.

Closure requirements

Make sure to clear all your accounts and Pockets. Check if you have a pending transaction by tapping this link. We need 2 business days for your payments to settle, after you sell your shares in money market funds held through your Flexible Cash Funds.

If all account balances are zero, please also confirm:

  • You have the latest version of the Revolut app installed
  • You've your plan to Standard
  • You've closed your investment account
  • You have no active
  • You have no active <18 account(s)
  • You have no active through Revolut
  • You have no open chargeback requests

How to close your account in the app

  • Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner
  • Select 'Account'
  • Tap ''

Download and keep any statements you may need for future reference. We'll send you a confirmation of the closure once you've completed the process.

If your balance is too low for an outbound transfer

Here are some things you can do:

  • Top up your account to meet the minimum amount required for outbound transfers
  • Transfer the remaining funds to a Revolut friend via an
