What is the gambling block?

The gambling block will block card payments identified as gambling. This can include payments to bookmakers, online casinos, and sports betting apps. This block is disabled by default. To enable this block:

1. From the 'Home' screen, tap your profile icon on the top-left corner
2. Tap 'Security'
3. Select 'Gambling block'
4. Toggle 'Gambling block' on (or off)
5. Tap 'Yes' to confirm

We'll do our best to identify and block these card payments, but Revolut isn't liable for any successful card payments.

Gambling block timeframes

Once enabled, the gambling block will be active and block card payments immediately.

If you decide to disable it, it takes up to 48 hours for the block to be lifted. Once the block is in place, it can't be bypassed.
