Difficulties with eSIM
Check if you have an active data plan
To check if you have an active eSIM plan, go to 'RevPoints' on the bottom menu. Tap 'eSIM' to view any active plans. Make sure to turn on data roaming for the eSIM you're using by going to the network/SIM settings in your phone.
Make sure your eSIM is installed
You must have purchased a data plan first to be able to install your Revolut eSIM. Once you've purchased your data plan and your eSIM is ready to use, you'll be prompted to install it. eSIMs can only be installed and activated on the device they were purchased on.
How to set up APN for Android users
- Open your device's settings and select 'Connections'
- Tap 'Mobile networks' and choose 'Access Point Names'
- Select 'eSIM'
- Check if the 'truphone.com' APN is set. If it isn't, go to 'Access Point Names' and select 'eSIM'
- Tap 'Add' and enter 'Revolut' in the 'Name' field
- In the 'APN' field, enter 'truphone.com' and save it
- Select the 'Revolut' APN for your eSIM
Check your coverage
If you've completed the above steps and still can't access your data, you may be in an area with limited mobile coverage, or no coverage. Try changing locations and make sure you have enough signal to connect to your data network.
Switch your phone to 'Airplane mode' or turn it off and on again to restart the signal search.
